The following table describes available actions in the portal based on the type of access granted.

The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) offers training for the victim services community. The OAG provides training to victim advocates and criminal justice professionals on victim -related programs administered by the OAG. The information provided is intended to assist crime victims and victim service professionals. Your local district or county attorney ’s office, law enforcement agency, or supervising agency (probation or prison) have crime victim service providers and staff available to assist you. Crime victims can carry with them the pain of a personal tragedy that has forever changed their lives, and the lives of those they love. These rights, which are listed below, are current through the Regular Session of the 84th Legislature.


AVOICE attorneys provide legal advice, advocacy and direct representation for victims of crime. State of Texas is listed in the categories State Government and Government Offices State. A person who is culpable for the crime being investigated or prosecuted is not considered a victim for purposes of victim rights and services.
