Volunteer work with refugees and asylum seekers

Can I volunteer with an asylum seeker? Can volunteering help refugees? Are asylum seekers legally voluntary?

You will have a volunteer coordinator to support you and all the training you need to make sure that the placement works for you as well as for refugees.
